Cellar Keeper Master Organizer Guide
The 200-rack milestone — halfway through the rack marathon, not the final trophy.
Master Organizer unlocks when you complete 200 racks in Cellar Keeper. Steam lists the requirement as: Complete 200 racks. This is a mid-campaign milestone, not the Speedrun trophy and not the story completion check. Keepers often earn it naturally during a long Cozy Mode session while learning map symbols and levelling Batch Grab.
Do not confuse Master Organizer with No Shortcuts, which requires a Speedrun Mode clear with no skill upgrades. Do not treat 200 racks as “beating the game” — Perfect Order demands every rack restored with zero unresolved bottles.
Master Organizer in the rack progression
Cellar Keeper exposes exact rack counts across six achievements:
| Achievement | Racks required |
|---|---|
| First Rack | 1 |
| Getting Organized | 10 |
| Rack by Rack | 50 |
| Cellar Expert | 100 |
| Master Organizer | 200 |
| Keeper of the Cellar | 400 |
These unlocks are periodic checks that your cleanup method still produces finished racks. They do not guarantee the cellar is error-free — you can hit 400 racks and still miss Perfect Order if a shelf hides a gray-flash mistake.
What changes at the 200-rack mark
By 200 racks you should:
- Read wine types on label line two without hesitation.
- Match types to central map symbols (Cabinet Symbols).
- Respect brand shelf claims — first bottle locks the shelf (Types and Brands).
- Use Spot Matches and Batch Grab as default tools in Cozy Mode.
If you stall before 200, revisit How to Organize Bottles and How to Prioritize Skills. Bottleneck is usually routing, not raw rack count.
Efficient pacing toward 200 racks
- Finish small series first —
3/3and4/4shelves pay skill points quickly. - Clear one wing before hopping — reduces backtracking through clutter.
- Batch carries to single destinations — ten-bottle hauls when labels share a rack.
- Fix gray flashes immediately — wrong placements waste future rack credit.
- Use the wing loops from How to Complete the Cellar.
Skills that accelerate the march to 200
You do not need every skill maxed for Master Organizer, but Batch Grab and Spot Matches cut hours off the grind. Midgame additions:
- Quick Order — sorts your carry list by brand and series.
- Target Hint — points toward the correct cabinet while holding a bottle.
Full rankings: Skills Tier List. Peak Efficiency (all seven skills maxed) is a separate trophy — see Peak Efficiency.
After Master Organizer unlocks
Steam pops the trophy at rack 200. You still have roughly half the rack marathon before Keeper of the Cellar at 400 racks, and Perfect Order only arrives when every rack is correct.
Recommended next steps:
- Continue Cozy wing clears toward Perfect Order.
- Max remaining skills if chasing Peak Efficiency.
- Run Find Misplaced Bottles audits on completed wings — hidden errors slow later racks.
- After Perfect Order, attempt No Shortcuts in Speedrun — see No Shortcuts guide.
Common misconceptions
- “Master Organizer = beat the game” — False. Perfect Order is full restoration.
- “Master Organizer needs Speedrun” — False. No Shortcuts is Speedrun.
- “200 racks means 200 bottles” — False. A rack is a completed shelf unit; the cellar holds 2,448 bottles across many racks.
